Meet Aurélie.

Aurélie Meriel is a Paris-based multidisciplinary artist and experienced art teacher offering creative classes for adults and children at Nest & Bloom. Her practice spans painting, textiles, sculpture, film, and performance. Aurélie’s personal work explores themes of generational transmission, female representation, and domestic space.

After a career as an actress in France, the United States, and the United Kingdom, where she notably performed alongside Charles Dance, Tom Sizemore, and Jodie Comer; Aurélie developed her visual art practice and graduated with a BA in Fine Art (First Class Honours) from Middlesex University in London. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

Having lived abroad for over 14 years, Aurélie is fluent in English and understands the needs of an international community. She creates a warm, supportive environment where students can explore their creativity, whether they are beginners or more experienced.

Her classes combine technical guidance with a strong emphasis on self-expression, helping each student develop confidence, creativity, and their own artistic voice.
