Pilates

Welcome to the Pilates studio at Nest & Bloom.
Whether you are navigating the early days of parenthood or moving through the transitions of midlife, our approach to Pilates is rooted in our core mission: providing a supportive, expert-led space where movement is a tool for connection and well-being.

Postnatal Pilates

Reconnect, Restore & Rebuild After Birth

This postnatal Pilates class is designed to support women through the physical and emotional transition into motherhood with thoughtful, intelligent movement.

Through breathwork, core and pelvic floor reconnection, mobility, posture and progressive strength-building, the class helps mothers rebuild confidence in their bodies after pregnancy and birth. Sessions are adapted to each woman’s stage of recovery and energy levels, creating a safe and supportive environment where movement becomes a tool for healing rather than pressure.

Particular attention is given to abdominal recovery, pelvic stability, nervous system regulation, feeding posture, and the everyday demands of motherhood such as lifting, carrying and fatigue.

This is not about “bouncing back,” but about rebuilding strength, awareness and trust in your body with care and clarity.

Suitable for postpartum women at all stages of recovery.

Strength Pilates for Perimenopause

Build the Foundation for Strength, Confidence & Longevity

This Pilates-based strength class is designed for women in perimenopause who want to build a stronger, more resilient body — both inside and outside of their workouts.

As hormones shift, many women notice changes in muscle mass, joint stability, posture, recovery and overall energy. This class focuses on creating the alignment, mobility, core support and functional movement foundation needed to move well and safely in everyday life, strength training and the gym environment.

Through resistance-based Pilates, balance work, breath-led core training and functional movement patterns, women learn how to better support their joints, improve posture, generate strength efficiently and understand how their body moves as a whole.

The goal is not only to feel stronger during class, but to build the confidence and physical foundation to lift weights, train with more clarity and support long-term bone, muscle and metabolic health.

This is a supportive space for women who want to move beyond simply exercising and develop lifelong strength through intelligent movement.
