Each session takes a destination; the Atlantic coast, the Americas, New York, the Mediterranean; and works its way through it: songs and instruments, scarves, counting steps and naming colours, a dance from every country. Children pick up English while moving, which is rather the point. Almost everything is in English, and no level is required, from anyone; this is for children growing up bilingual and for children hearing their first words of it alike.

Cosmo Kids runs these workshops for young children and the grown-up who brings them, one Sunday morning a month at Nest & Bloom. Each has its own destination and its own theme, so families can come once or come back for every trip.

They are led by Camila Chappelle, who founded Cosmo Kids: born and raised in New York, a Master's in Education, and years of teaching behind her in the United States, China and Malaysia.
